Stefanie and Garrett celebrated the new chapter of their love in an outdoor wedding that's sure to get your eyes sparkling and mind rolling with ideas for your upcoming wedding.
For this wedding, I was particularly excited because I've been connected to them since the start of their journey - from shooting Stefanie's bridal shower to their engagement photoshoot. I always had a great time with them, it was such a pleasure. Not only that, but I've known Garrett for a long time as he's my brother's college friend, so it was extra special.
I headed over to Maravilla Gardens, which the couple had picked as their wedding venue. A completely outdoor setting filled with lush green gardens and ample natural lighting, Maravilla Gardens is indeed a photographer's paradise! You better believe I fell in love with the beauty of the venue at the very first sight. Adorned with vibrant florals, white drapes, wooden accents, and candles, the decor was immaculate and classy.
Our bride of the day, Stefanie, looked stunning in a boat-necked, off-shoulder, brilliant white gown from Lillian West. The gown had floral work in a netted pattern. The gorgeous gown with its bodycon fit truly gave a modern princess vibe.
I loved working with Stefanie because she's fantastic with poses (credits: her acting chops!). Her bridesmaids were also dressed in velvet gowns of different earthy colors, which was definitely unique and out-of-the-box!
Garett, the groom, was dressed in a deep olive green fitted tux that matched beautifully with his groomsmen and dad, who were in beige suits and olive neckties.
For the wedding ceremony, a wooden triangle backdrop gave an organic feel to the wedding, along with beautiful floral arrangement by Maravilla Floral Studio.
As Stefanie walked down the aisle, Garett couldn't help but get emotional - it was such a sweet moment to witness.
After the wedding ceremony, I took pictures of the newlyweds amidst all of the beautiful backdrops of this spectacular venue, like my absolute favorite - the tree swing, and not to forget the leafy archway and dance floor with twinkly fairy lights.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, it served us the most amazing sunset view! It was time for the reception! And nobody was as excited about it as much as the bride and groom.
Stefanie changed into her evening dress, which was a one-of-a-kind sparkly creation by Le Qu'a Atelier. She danced throughout the evening and changed into sneakers so she could have the most fun with her love of dance (and Garrett), and then it all came to a perfect end with a sparkler exit.
It was such a fun day, celebrating true love.
