Wedding at Water Grill South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa | Areum & Jason

Areum and Jason have a beautiful love story; Areum was living in Korea and Jason was living here in the United States. The bride and groom met through their parents and were now ready to tie the knot. In fact, the bride was filled with so much happiness that she couldn't help but smile the entire day. She wore a stunning mermaid wedding dress with a lace back and sweetheart neckline. The bride's mother was filled with just about as much joy as the bride herself, and there were truly so many beautiful moments to capture while the bride was getting ready for her big day.

The groom patiently waited for his beautiful bride so they could have an intimate first look before their wedding ceremony. It's safe to say that the groom was pleasantly surprised when he felt the tap of his bride's hand on his shoulder. The Noguchi Garden in Costa Mesa, California was the most romantic place to capture the bride and groom's love.

Some of Areum's friends and relatives from Korea were unable to make it, so the bride and groom had a livestream of their ceremony and reception for their friends and family to still be a part of their big day. They absolutely would not want to miss the emotional ceremony that took place. The groom was definitely trying to hold some tears back when he saw his bride walk down the aisle.

Areum and Jason shared their first dance as husband and wife at the Water Grill. It was the perfect venue for their reception because it fit their elegant theme wonderfully. The newlyweds could not hold back their smiles and laughs while hearing the toasts from their close family and friends. Getting to capture these memories for my couples has to be one of my top reasons I love being a wedding photographer. After the bride and groom danced the night away, they cut their elegant wedding cake together.

Areum and Jason's big day was so much fun to capture. I loved the fusion between the modern and romantic theme. I loved even more so that these two lovebirds found a way to have all of their loved ones a part of their big day. It was a pleasure working with Lorie and Howard from H&L Lovely, who made the day so smooth. Not to mention that the bride had a sensible and stunning outfit change for her ceremony. I am so excited for the next time I get the pleasure of capturing someone's big day.
