Hvianca & Andrew met online, and they were equally pleasantly surprised by how well the first date went! As they continued dating, Andrew embraced Hvianca's daughter as a part of his life. The most touching part was during the ceremony when he gave her daughter, Evie, a gift and said the most heartfelt words. I was in tears seeing her get so happy and emotional.
Hvianca and her bridesmaids got ready at The Pelican Hill Resort in Newport Beach. I loved capturing all of the details, especially since she incorporated teal and gray into the color scheme, which made for such a unique style. I loved her wedding look: Plum lipstick, beautiful gown, tiara, cathedral veil, and teal shoes. And her bridesmaids and daughter perfectly complemented her look with their teal dresses. Andrew and his groomsmen all looked very dapper in their tuxes, and we got some fun shots of them and even included Andrew and Hvianca's furbabies.
We then headed to a park in Anaheim Hills for the first look and portraits. First up was Hvianca's daughter, Evie, and she was giddy with excitement as she walked up to Andrew. We captured some great, tender moments with the two of them. Then it was Hvianca's turn, and what a radiant smile she had on her face as she approached Andrew, who took one look at his bride and couldn't help but get emotional. Hvianca and Evie also surprised him with personalized gifts, which was so special.
The ceremony and reception took place at Andrew's parents' backyard where everyone enjoyed the good conversation and dancing with a view of the city lights. The main centerpiece was a mature tree in the center of the backyard that was wrapped in lights...so beautiful as a backrop. I loved that they personalized all of the decor. The tables had framed photos and even printed texts from their early dating days, and they had a Jenga set that they painted to match their wedding colors.
It was a wonderful celebration with their closest family and friends.
