Laurensia and Aaron live in San Francisco, but Southern California was a good in-between point for their families, and they fell in love with Lorimar Winery in Temecula. Who wouldn't? It's the perfect venue for an outdoor wedding with its grove of orange trees, vineyards, and reception lawn with barrel room.
Getting ready and the first look took place at South Coast Winery. I couldn't have picked a more romantic spot for their first look - a walkway under wisteria vines (which were no longer in bloom two weeks later...how lucky were we?). It was such a special moment between the two lovebirds that brought about huge smiles and excitement for the day ahead.
Weddings by Katlin did an amazing job of planning this wedding, and I absolutely fell in love with the aestethic, especially the color palette - bright oranges, yellows, and soft pinks. The florals by Storybook Weddings and Events were showstopping and added such a joyful element to the whole day. The ceremony's gazebo already had beautiful wisteria in bloom, and the added florals created an even more beautiful backdrop for the vows. The bridesmaid dresses were a mix and match of solid soft pinks and bright floral patterns that made for a unique and bold fashion statement. Conversely, Laurensia's Rosa Clara wedding gown was delicate, romantic, and was a perfect choice when paired with her colorful bouquet.
The reception took place at the barrel room lawn, and oh how the sunset light added that beautiful soft glow to everything. We had to take advantage of it and took Laurensia and Aaron out to the vineyard for the last set of romantics. Meanwhile guests enjoyed cocktails and beverages from Hops and Grains Mobile Bar. Once the sun was down, twinkling lights added a touch of magic, and everyone enjoyed the warm spring night celebrating Laurensia and Aaron's love.
