Engagement Session at Mission San Juan Capistrano | Kareen & Omar

Kareen and Omar have had a whirlwind romance. When you know, you know, and these two have the most amazing kind of love. You can tell just by watching them interact that they were meant to be – they belong together and have an exciting spark that was so much fun to capture on camera. I enjoyed capturing the chemistry these two have, and there wasn't much directing on my part. All three of us really found a groove and meshed exceptionally well. I couldn’t wait to get these photos back to them, and I'm really looking forward to their wedding in September.

The Mission San Juan Capistrano is a photographer's dream, and I'm so happy they chose it for their engagement photos. The trees around the old stone architecture were in full bloom, and the bright pink and red hues really popped against the arid landscape and white rock. The flowers were so big and full that we were even able to get shots of the two of them completely surrounded by flowers – stunning! If you didn’t know better, you would probably think they were photoshopped. But I assure you, The Mission was as breathtaking as you see in these photos. The vibrant green courtyards and exposed brick columns provided photo opportunities galore. Kareen and Omar just spent some time together walking around and exploring the grounds while I followed nearby and snapped these authentic, candid moments. One of my favorite images is a distant shot of the two of them sharing a sweet moment beneath the shade of a large tree. The greenery in front of the photo really makes it even more intimate and romantic.

Congratulations to this dynamic couple, and I can’t wait to see them in just a few months!
