Courthouse Wedding at OC Clerk Recorder's Office, Fullerton | Jennifer & Justin

A wedding is more than a simple exchange of vows. It’s a celebration of love with friends and family. I know for my own wedding, it just wouldn’t have been the same without those who had supported us on the journey by our side as we took those first steps into forever together. Having our friends and family there meant the world to us. Some guests may feel like they’re just attending another wedding, blending into the background, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. The bride and groom appreciate each guest’s presence more than they know.

In light of that, I had the pleasure of shooting Jennifer and Justin’s engagement session, and I can’t wait for their big day in May, but they also chose to do this very special courthouse wedding a little early. Jennifer’s dad is battling cancer, and of course she wanted him to be there by her side as she married the man of her dreams. It was truly the honor of a lifetime to be able to capture these precious moments for them. Their sweet and emotional father-daughter dance had me reaching for tissues. The look on both of their faces was priceless—he looked so proud, his heart overflowing with love for his gorgeous daughter and now son-in-law, and she looked overjoyed to share this moment with him.

They chose the Orange County Clerk Recorder’s Office in Fullerton since it’s always decorated so beautifully (you wouldn’t even know it was the Clerk’s Office by looking at the photos—they’ve done a wonderful job making it feel like an intimate wedding venue). They both looked amazing, and the little ceremony was just perfect. Afterward, they celebrated at a residence with their family and the rest of their wedding party. I went home with a full heart after this beautiful shoot. I can’t wait for May! Congrats, Jennifer and Justin!
