This year I decided to enter into my very first photography contest... a little scary but exciting! The Shoot & Share Photo Contest is open to photographers all over the world. This year there were 11,351 photographers who entered 413,000 photos. Each could enter up to 50 photos in 25 categories, and anyone could view the photos randomly and vote for their favorites. I loved that this wasn't a popularity contest...you couldn't find out who the photographer behind the photo
